Student-Alumni Mentor Dinner
Date and time
Location
NYU Journalism Institute
20 Cooper Square 7th Floor New York, NY 10002Description
For the past eight years, the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute has sponsored a mentoring program for our undergraduate students. Participation for the students and alumni is completely voluntary. So far, we have been very lucky, having paired several hundred alumni with our talented students.
We would love to have you become part of our program. If you choose to participate, we ask that you take your commitment seriously and communicate with your mentee in an on-going process -- providing counseling, support, job advice, etc. To become part of the program, please complete the registration form and hit "submit." We use this information to try and create pairings with particular students when possible.
The mentor/mentee dinner is your chance to meet students and create natural matches for future mentor relationships. We will be hosting our mentor/mentee spring dinner on Friday, April 21st, from 6-8 p.m., on the 7th floor of 20 Cooper Square, so please save the date and plan to join us.
If you are able to attend the spring dinner, please RSVP by selecting the "Alumni Mentor (attending dinner)" option above. If you are unable to attend, but would still like to participate in our mentorship program, please select "Alumni Mentor (unable to attend dinner)" to be taken to the registration form.
